AMALIA'S THREAD

My name is Manuela Gerratana, I am 35 years old and I come from Pozzallo. I have been an Event Creator since 2017 but an apprentice artisan since 2015, but my true passion was born when I was little, I always had pencils, colors and sheets of paper behind me, and I found every right moment to indulge in my imagination, I remember that anything that passed before me was a valid reason to develop it graphically, so much so that I started attending the art school of Noto, graduating in 2009 in the painting and graphics sector but another passion of mine was architecture and furniture, initially undertaken but abandoned immediately after high school, and from there I tried my hand at the creativity sector starting as an artisan and subsequently opening a self-taught page that could best represent my personality, giving it the name of: "Il Filo di Amalia" (my beloved grandmother source of inspiration,)

but it is only thanks to my best friend that I took courage to open this page and make it become a point of reference for many young people today, and from there everything began to make more and more sense, I had little self-esteem in me, but the more I went forward and the more I realized that my creations were increasingly esteemed and appreciated, I also thank the moral support of my family and my partner who have always encouraged me to give my best and to support me even in bad times, because I have had many moments of ups and downs, but the desire to do and experiment with as many new things as possible for my Pozzallo, was always stronger, and it is thanks to this that even today this flame is always alive and I hope it will be for a long time because I realize that I have a lot to give and the desire to do is too much!

What satisfies me most is seeing the joy and gratification in the eyes of my clients, it is above all thanks to them if I always feel encouraged to give my best, or at least I try to do so, aware that in life there is always something to learn!

I am here ready to do it!! But above all to keep my passion alive.
